These terms govern your use of Fine Club. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. Please read them carefully.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Fine Club. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement.
You sign in with your email address and a one time code. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure and for activity that happens under your account.
Fine Club is a lighthearted tool for teams and groups to run their own fines culture. Fines are set and agreed within your group for a bit of fun. They are not legally enforceable debts, and Fine Club is not a payment service. The pot is simply a tally your club keeps. How and whether money is actually collected is entirely a matter between you and your group.
Spin the wheel and duels are optional features a club admin can switch on or off. They are settled by chance and only ever adjust an informal fine that members have already agreed between themselves. Fine Club does not take, hold, or pay out any money, and no money ever moves through the app. Taking part is voluntary, and all fines remain informal agreements between members, not legally enforceable debts.
Admins are responsible for the rules and fines set within their team, and for keeping things good natured.
Fine Club is free to use. If we offer any optional paid features in future, they will be billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms, and you can manage or cancel them in your app store account. No real money for fines is ever handled by the app; the pot is a running tally your club keeps.
You keep ownership of the content you create. You grant us the permission needed to host and display it so the app can work for you and your team.
You can stop using Fine Club and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken.
Fine Club is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or unexpected losses, or for any disputes between members of a group over fines or the pot.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will let you know in the app or by email. Questions? Email hello@thefineclub.com.
