Getting started

Welcome to Fine Club. Here is everything you need to get signed in, into a club, and ready to run your team's fines.

Signing in

There is no password to remember. Pop in your email address and we will send you a six-digit code. Type that code back in and you are through. Simple.

We only ask for your first name, so no need to hand over your surname. You can add a profile photo, a short bio and your language later if you fancy it, but none of that is required to get going.

Creating a club

A club is your team or group. To start one, give it a name, pick a sport preset to seed a ready-made set of fines, and choose a badge. That is it. Whoever creates the club becomes the owner and admin, so you are in charge of the rulebook, who gets in, and who gets fined.

Joining a club

There are three easy ways to join a club someone else has set up:

  • Enter the club's 6-character code.
  • Scan the club's QR code.
  • Tap an invite link that has been shared with you.

Whichever route you take, an admin has to approve you before you are in. This keeps every club to the people who are actually meant to be there, so do not worry if you are not added the very second you ask.

Switching between clubs

You can belong to more than one club at a time (your five-a-side lot and your work team, say). Use the team switcher in the drawer to hop between them whenever you like.

Everything is scoped to your club

Here is the important bit: all your fines, and the pot they build toward, belong to the club you are currently in. When you switch clubs, the fines, the feed and the pot all switch with you, so each group's fines culture stays neatly separate.
